The David Lubin Parent Teacher Group (PTG) is a non-profit volunteer organization that includes parents, guardians, teachers, and supporters of David Lubin Elementary School students. The PTG is dedicated to providing access to enrichment programs for all of our students including art, music, science, technology, as well as building a strong bridge of communication between school and home. As a designated S.T.E.A.M. school, our PTG raises money to augment the classroom S.T.E.A.M. curriculum to support our teachers and students.
Although we do raise money, we are not just a fundraising organization. While fundraising is critical to providing enrichment programs, PTG-sponsored activities and events would not be possible without the parent and teacher volunteers who generously donate their time and talents, including counting laps during the Jog-A-thon, working as a docent at our annual Garden Tour, chaperoning school field trips, and much, much more.
Please join us at our next meeting and learn more about who we are and what we do. You don’t need to have a lot of extra time to volunteer — tell us how much you have, where your interests lie and we will find something that fits. Oh, and you’ll probably have a good time at the meeting, too!
Check the calendar for the next meeting date. Childcare, which is staffed by an adult and 6th grade students, is provided at no charge.
See you at the next meeting!
