Are you a parent/guardian of a SCUSD student? Do you care about mental health support for our students?
If so, please read and sign our petition asking Superintendent Aguilar to fund an ONSITE mental health professional or social worker at every school in the District at least 2 days per week.
Currently, over half of SCUSD schools do not have an onsite support center and David Lubin is one of these schools. And of the 34 that do, only 20 have a full time professional on site. Our children deserve more and we are asking Superintendent Aguilar to ensure our children are provided the critical support they need.
The petition linked above was started by the PTG at David Lubin, but we are hoping for ALL SCUSD parents/guardians to join us. Please share this with other families. They can check the status of their school in Q2 2022 here.
When you sign, please include the name of the school your child attends, this will ensure Superintendent Aguilar sees this is a District-wide issue.
