People often think that the Board Members ARE the PTG. But, every parent, guardian and staff member is automatically a member of the David Lubin PTG. There are no fees or requirements to attend meetings. Just get involved, volunteer and provide feedback.

Meet your 2023-2024 PTG Board Members

Nick Martin – PTG President

I’m a former elementary school teacher who currently works for a STEM curriculum publisher.

I grew up in Galt and later went to UC Davis, where I met my wife, Erin. After spending a few years living on both coasts, we found our way back to the Sacramento Area–a place we never thought we’d return to, but one we now can’t imagine ever leaving again.

Our family’s favorite pastimes include Friday movie nights, living room dance parties and rocking out in the car.

Beverly Garber – PTG Vice President

I work as a nurse practitioner.

I was raised in Monterey and Woodland, CA and we have been in Sacramento for the last 15 years.

My family loves camping, road trips and walks in the neighborhood with our dog, Scout!

Caroline Dunivant – PTG Meeting Administrator (aka Parliamentarian) and East Sac Garden Tour Chair

I work as an Art Director

I was born in Marshalltown, Iowa, am a University of Wisconsin-Madison Alum. I have lived in Chicago, then LA, then San Francisco and now Sacramento.

Our family is a bunch of soccer lovers! And always up for a good outdoor adventure.

Gary Ashley  – PTG Treasurer

I work as a photographer. I am also going to school to learn American Sign Language.

I am from San Diego, CA and we enjoy having friends over for dinner and playing in the backyard.

Lisa Ashley – PTG Secretary

I own my own business representing wedding photographers.

I was raised in Modesto, CA. I have lived in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, New York, Los Angeles and Sacramento

I love cooking new recipes and having dinners outside with the family.

Melissa Cronin – PTG Member-at-Large

I am originally from San Jose and went to Chico State where I met my husband, David.

We moved to Sacramento and have been here ever since.

We love keeping busy with sports, camping and traveling.

Pedro Peterson – PTG Member-at-Large

I am an urban planner by training and currently work for the state at the intersection of land use, transportation, and climate policy.

I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I came to the US in high school and have lived in New Hampshire, Atlanta, Montana, and California (Bay Area
and Sacramento).

I love making pizza and traveling with my family.

Adam Glatt – PTG Member-at-Large

I operate a beverage co-packing facility.

I am an Angeleno by birth, but I have split my years living in both Northern and Southern California. I graduated from Sonoma State University before embarking on a career in the wine industry. My family and I are 3 years new to Sacramento and continue to be amazed by the richness that the city has to offer us and our two highly energetic boys.

We are a family of would-be farmers and aspiring chefs.
