David Lubin will be hosting the KINDNESS CHALLENGE in December and January to kick off our Kindness Campaign! Students will be asked to participate in a different act of kindness each week for four weeks, and will have the opportunity to win REWARDS through a random drawing during our Friday rallies!
Week 1: December 5th – December 9th: Do something kind for someone at school! This can be any staff member at school or a friend! Consider raising money for the Family Outreach Project.
Week 2: December 12th – December 16th: Do something kind for someone in your community! This could be a neighbor, a coach, or anyone you interact with in your community!
Week 3: December 19th – December 23rd: Do something kind for someone in your family.
Week 4: January 9th – January 13th: Do something kind for yourself.
Kindness Challenge forms will be sent home with students or can be downloaded here. Students can submit their forms to their teachers at anytime, and Mr. Jon will collect them on Thursdays, and announce the winner on Fridays!
Special Kindness Challenge – Create a Public Service Announcement
We at David Lubin are also providing a unique opportunity for a student who would like to show what kindness means to them through a PSA! This could be a small video, an art project, a poster, an activity, etc. Students will have until January 13th to submit their PSA either in person or e-mailed to Mr. Jon at jonathan-fatta@scusd.edu! The winner of the PSA will receive a nice reward and will be viewed as our kindness liaison!
